- What she means: On the title track Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino, Alex Turner tells a story about a hotel on the moon and writes about seeing Jesus in the day spa, but then later in the song sings "kiss me underneath the moon's side boob" implying that they are not on the moon at all, but in fact on earth looking up at the moon. Does this mean that he is actually in a virtual reality where he only remotely visits a hotel on the moon? Or are we meant to believe from the line "I've been on a bender" that he is actually experiencing this in a drug-induced haze?
